Zentera founder Dr. Jaushin Lee recently published an article in Forbes acknowledging the challenges that cybersecurity professionals face in explaining the benefits of investing in Zero Trust to C-suite executives. The hurdles aren’t technical but are instead linked to the common hesitations that these executives have about any technical investment.

To help overcome these obstacles, security teams need to educate executives on what Zero Trust is and how it differs from traditional security approaches. For example, to demonstrate the ROI of Zero Trust, organizations should start small with a pilot program focused on high-value assets. This allows them to assess benefits and demonstrate how Zero Trust enhances operations without disrupting business. Security teams can also compare the costs associated with a breach (including remediation, downtime, and reputational damage) to the cost of implementing Zero Trust.

Continue reading at Forbes to learn how your security team can frame Zero Trust as a business enabler for resilience and continuity, rather than just a preventive measure.
